The American Rescue Plan will support the next generation of agriculture professionals through student scholarship support, paid internships, fellowships, and other job and training opportunities at eligible institutions.

NLFR would like to express its appreciation to the  Biden/Harris Administration for providing real resources to grow our youth’s interest in farming and ranching, and careers in related Agricultural industries. We will continue to empower youth in agriculture and its related fields by including youths’ voices for a better future, and providing them with the necessary tools to achieve their objectives.

NLFR’s Executive Director, Rudy Arredondo commends the assembling of the American Rescue Plan: “This wonderful news gives our historically underserved farmers and ranchers access to resources that they never have had. ARP will offer sustainable opportunities for future generations.”

We must transform the trajectory of climate change and provide access and opportunities to small underserved producers (farmers and ranchers) and small value-added businesses.
